Welcome to the historic Gerresheimer railway station – an important site in Düsseldorf’s industrial history. Originally built in 1838, our station is the oldest in Düsseldorf and is located on the oldest railway line in western Germany, with an impressive history.

Originally built as a short gravel platform, the station was rebuilt in stone in 1888/89 and is now an important industrial monument. After various uses over the years, including a restaurant and a beverage store, the station was listed as a historic monument in 2010.

Following extensive renovation in line with conservation guidelines by Düsseldorf architect Piet Neiser, the station is now used for cultural events, functions, and family celebrations. Experience history and charm at our unique venue, the Glasvoll Bahnhofsgebäude event location.
